The Ministry of Health issued an emergency announcement on April 5 regarding the travel history of the country’s 183rd novel coronavirus (COVID-19) patient, urging all people who were at these locations around the times indicated to immediately contact health professionals in order to receive support.

This declaration by the Ministry comes after patient No. 183 tested positive for the COVID-19 and was said to have visited a number of medicine clinics and healthcare centres around Hanoi, in addition to a hotel.

On the list of locations that are at high risk of infection are two medical centres, including Moc Linh Oriental Medicine Clinic located at 182 Ngoc Ha street and the Jc Caze Clinic at 5 Hang Chuoi street.

The nation’s 183rd COVID-19 patient also visited Huong Sen Healthcare Center at 5 Le Van Thiem street.

In addition, the Sheraton Hotel at K5 Nghi Tam on 11 Xuan Dieu street has also been listed as a location visited by the patient and is therefore a high-risk venue.  

The Ministry is calling on all people who visited any of these places at the times indicated in the chart to immediately contact their local centres for disease control and wait for further instructions regarding the monitoring of their health.

Currently, the total number of positive COVID-19 cases nationwide stands at 241, with 91 already being discharged from hospital after making a full recovery from the virus.
