The city also decided that all restaurants inside hotels are allowed to serve the guests who stay at the hotels while all religious activities involving more than 10 people are banned.

Chairman of the HCMC People’s Committee Nguyen Thanh Phong urged subordinate authorities to accelerate contact-tracing to quickly identify those who came in contact with the confirmed cases.

As of 7:05 pm on May 27, the total positive cases linked to the religious Revival Ekklesisa Mission rose to 36./.
