HCM City Customs Department has established a rapid response team to support officers affected by the public health crisis in the fastest and most effective manner.

According to HCM City Customs Department, the department issued a decision to set up a rapid response team on August 27.
The team was set up with the aim of supporting customs officers, so that "no one is left behind". In addition, creating a strong belief and spiritual encouragement for officers and their families to quickly overcome the pandemic and stabilize their lives.
The team will be a focal point to receive the support of individuals and organizations inside and outside the customs sector, thereby developing specific plans to assist officers.
The department’s subordinate units have also set up support teams and coordinated with the team to grasp the health and life of each officer, make a list and classify them for quick care.
HCM City Customs Department has taken measures to contain the pandemic and complied with regulations of health authorities. However, due to the Covid-19 pandemic and the danger of the new Delta variant, they have recorded dozens of Covid-19 patients, hundreds of direct and indirect contacts and one death.
In addition, HCM City Customs Department has received encouragement from leaders at all levels, coordinators, as well as businesses and partners to overcome difficulties and improve responsibility, promote the strength of solidarity to quickly beat the pandemic and complete assigned tasks.
The department’s performance is predicted difficulties, affecting to officers who are direct and indirect contact, and those on duty 24/7.
The department has funded direct and indirect contacts, tested officers, and provided equipment for disease prevention and control.
