The direction is stated in Official Dispatch 1633/UBND-KTTH, issued by Hanoi People's Committee on strengthening tax administration for households and individuals doing business on digital platforms.
Accordingly, to improve the efficiency of tax administration, prevent revenue loss, strengthen support for business households and individuals to comply with new tax policies, transfer the use of e-invoice, contributing to promoting administrative reform and digital transformation, the Hanoi People's Committee assigns tasks to departments, agencies, People's Committees of districts and towns to perform.
The City’s Government assigned Hanoi Tax Department to coordinate with competent agencies to instruct new policies to business households and individuals in effective manner, and apply information technology in guidance, ensuring taxpayers understand, agree and comply with the new policies.
In addition, Hanoi Tax Department is requested to effectively notify the new polices to each tax payer; regularly monitor and check management data between units to control in appropriate manner and attach requirements of reform, modernization and digital transformation in tax administration.
The city’s tax department is also assigned to apply e-invoice created by POS cash registers with the tax authorities and report the city’s government to direct departments, agencies and local government to perform effectively and enhance the tax administration for these taxpayers.
The city’s government also assigned the tax department to grasp difficulties and problems in tax process and report to the government.
The Department of Information and Communications is requested to closely coordinate with the city’s tax authorities to publish new policies for the taxpayers.
The City’s government directed People's Committees of districts and towns to coordinate with the tax man to notify new policies for local tax payers, review their area to manage tax payers, and enhance responsibilities of the tax advisory council, advise the tax authorities to determine the annual revenue and flat tax amount.
