According to the Hanoi Department of Industry and Trade, a promotion campaign connecting craft villages into green production and sustainable consumption will run from September 12 to September 14 at The Linc commercial center in Duong Noi Ward’s ParkCity Hanoi urban area.
The program features an exhibition of eco-friendly products, a ceremony recognizing exemplary sustainable businesses, and a signing of agreement on green production and consumption agreements.
It will also feature 50 booths of environmentally friendly goods and 80 booths of safe food products, giving eco-friendly producers and retailers an opportunity to meet and form partnerships.
From September 16 to September 18 at Mega Market Thang Long in Phu Dien Ward, local authorities will spotlight recycled and natural-origin products with 80 booths.
There will be also an event featuring 120 booths with local handicrafts and furniture held during September 29 – October 3 in front of the My Dinh National Stadium in Tu Liem Ward.
The events aim to raise public awareness, encourage businesses and consumers to adopt sustainable practices, reduce plastic waste, develop a circular economy and move toward green growth and a low-carbon economy.
These activities are part of the government’s national action programs on sustainable production and consumption in 2025 and during 2021-2030.
