Binh Phuoc province is a primary cashew grower, accounting for 50% of the country's area, but most processors are small. The premium cashew factory of Hanfimex Vietnam Group Joint Stock Company was brought into operation in June 2020 to fulfill its aspirations to side with farmers to lift up the local cashew industry. What is the significance of the operation of the premium cashew factory in Phu Rieng district, Binh Phuoc province, to Hanfimex Group’s development strategy?

The operation of the modern high-quality cashew factory with a daily capacity of 120 tons in Phuoc Tan commune, Phu Rieng district is the affirmation of Hanfimex’s ongoing value growth of Vietnamese agricultural products. Hanfimex has always strived to bring high quality Vietnamese agricultural products to markets around the world. In that journey, Hanfimex has persistently fulfilled the goal “For A Healthy Food Chain” to develop and use the 6F guideline: Fresh Farm – Fair Factory – Fine Food.

The operation of the Hanfimex factory also aimed to change the current fragmented, poorly planned ways of doing things of local people. In order to have high-quality and high-value products, it is necessary to have a guaranteed input area; advanced processes, technologies and machines; and modern operation and management. Hanfimex not only brings Vietnamese cashew nuts around the world, but also supports farmers to innovate and improve production value to meet the highest customer demands.

To realize the aspiration of raising the position of Vietnamese agricultural products, what directions and solutions will Hanfimex Group implement?

With the goal of accompanying farmers and realizing the aspiration of successful business in both domestic and export markets, Hanfimex is developing organic areas to increase the product value and building a cashew nut processing plant. Typically, Hanfimex is completing a flavored cashew processing facility in Binh Phuoc province and bringing its Hansia-branded products to domestic and international consumers.

The cooperation will help farmers have stable output, sell products at higher prices, and create jobs for more than 200 local workers.
