Tourists experience harvesting and tasting lychee in Thanh Son Commune, Thanh Ha District.

Through the programme, Hai Duong expects to introduce Thanh Ha lychee to tourists and consumers through eco-tourism itineraries and experiences at lychee gardens.

Every year, travel businesses regularly build tours to visit lychee gardens and growing models, and harvest lychees with local farmers.

Lychee is currently one of the eight key agricultural products of Hai Duong Province.

During the three years from 2021 to 2023, the People’s Committee of Hai Duong Province coordinated with the Ministry of Industry and Trade and the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism to organise many trade and tourism promotion events at home and abroad, as well as organising tours to lychee gardens to improve the value and brand of the local fruit.

This year, Hai Duong Province is expected to harvest 40,000 – 45,000 tonnes of lychee, including 30,000 tonnes of early maturing lychee.
