Ha Tinh Border Guard has arrested a man for allegedly trafficking 180,000 amphetamine tablets, one kg of synthetic drugs and two bricks of heroin.
On March 13, at km 790 in Tho Dien commune, Vu Quang district, Ha Tinh province, the Drug and Crime Prevention Division under Cau Treo International Border Checkpoint, Huong Quang Border Guard Station (under Ha Tinh Provincial Border Guard) worked with the Ha Tinh Provincial Police, Vu Quang District Police, Huong Son District Police and the Drug Crime Prevention No. 2 - Vietnam Coast Guard caught Tran VanThinh, born in 1994, residing in village 5, Hoa Son commune, Anh Son district, Nghe An province, in the act of trafficking a sack containing a large amount of drugs.

At the investigation office, Tran Van Thinh confessed he was hired to carry the above drugs by a Laotian to a person in Vietnam. At the scene, checking the sack, the forces seized 180,000 amphetamine tablets, one kg of synthetic drugs and two heroin bricks and other material evidence.
The case is under investigation.
