The department has instructed all units to adopt these measures in line with the General Department of Vietnam Customs’ Digital Transformation Plan and existing legal regulations on digitization. This includes integrating and sharing data across relevant platforms, empowering organizations, individuals, and businesses to access and leverage electronic administrative procedures seamlessly.
The digitization push aims to elevate public administration, ensuring safe, efficient access to procedural outcomes for all stakeholders.
Key criteria for the digitization process include the completeness, accuracy, and integrity of records, alongside comprehensive content and procedural compliance. Data protection measures are also prioritized to safeguard the rights and legitimate interests of all parties involved.
Efforts are underway to develop cost-effective and efficient IT infrastructure for data storage, connectivity, and sharing. This involves evaluating and upgrading current systems to support the digitization of procedural outcomes.
Ha Nam Ninh Customs is also focused on raising public awareness and providing guidance to organizations, individuals, and businesses to digitize and utilize electronic procedural results, boosting the effectiveness of online public services.
A representative from the department highlighted that, in the first 10 months of this year, Ha Nam Ninh Customs effectively leveraged systems like VNACCS/VCIS, the National Single Window, and the ASEAN Single Window, along with various state management and level-4 public service applications.
During this period, the department processed 7,869 online public service records from 1,119 businesses through the online public service system.
