In Vietnam, the Generation Z workforce is growing, especially in sectors like IT, manufacturing, service, and e-commerce. To meet employee demand, businesses should consider how their offices and corporate culture can play a role in attracting talent, retaining employees, and supporting long-term and sustainable business operations.

According to the World Green Building Council, offices are no longer just for work and clocking in at 9 and leaving at 5 after work. Working hours are changing and overtime is increasingly common. Thus, the introduction of green features to the office has a positive impact, particularly on the health, wellbeing, and productivity of employees who spend a large proportion of their working week in the office. Aside from improving operational efficiency, green features also improve employee productivity, and reduce absenteeism, and staff turnover.

This means businesses also need to give their teams time to rest and recharge through diverse amenities.

Russia-invested 1C Company is an example. On December 16, 1C Vietnam organised the opening ceremony of the new office, marking its 8th anniversary of establishment and development in the Vietnamese market. This is an important step forward, demonstrating 1C Vietnam's commitment to providing high-quality software solutions that meet the needs of businesses.

1C Vietnam's new office is equipped with advanced technological amenities, from smart lighting systems to integrated virtual meeting rooms, creating flexible working conditions and promoting unlimited creativity. The new office space is designed to promote connection, collaboration and creativity, demonstrating the company's commitment to the core values the company has set forth.

In addition to the environmentally friendly design inspiration, 1C Vietnam's new office is operated by lighting systems, construction materials, and a green campus that harmoniously combines with technological elements.

Innovation helps promote a 4.0 working environment. The company pays attention to the working environment of staff, which is considered the key factor for the development of the company. Thus, designing a green and modern office space is one of the ways that 1C creates momentum for staff.

“The grand opening isn't just about launching an office; it's about introducing a nurturing hub for tech professionals. Our new space fosters connection, collaboration, and creativity–a manifestation of our commitment to our core values,” said Alexander Evchenko, CEO of 1C Vietnam.

“Our mission at 1C Vietnam is crystal clear: guide local enterprises through their digital transformation journey. We do this through continuous updates and insights into digital transformation, promoting user-friendly coding platforms like 1C: Enterprise, and fostering an entrepreneurial environment,” he said.

The company hopes to become a centre for nurturing experts, and converging on technology talents. Thus, 1C Vietnam has conducted activities and cooperated with government organisations and community groups with the expectation to create conditions, establish an ecosystem and support digital transformation for Vietnamese businesses.

1C also partners with more than 15 universities to nurture the next generation of Vietnamese tech talent. These collaborations play a key role in preparing young minds for the evolving technology landscape.

With a new office and commitment to sustainable development, 1C Vietnam is confident that it will continue to actively contribute to the development of Vietnam's technology community.

1C Company has been present in Vietnam through joint ventures since 2006. Recognising the potential and the efficient solutions it offered, the company officially established 1C Vietnam in Hanoi in 2016.
