The program aims to promote the development and application of cloud computing to build a modern, advanced, secure, safe, synchronized, and sustainable digital infrastructure in Viet Nam.

It targets to enhance national competitiveness across all sectors, strongly promote digital economy as a key driver for socioeconomic development, and strive to position Viet Nam among the leading ASEAN countries in terms of data centers and cloud computing services by 2030, becoming a high-income and developed nation by 2045.

Accordingly, all of government agencies will prioritize the deployment of new information systems and IT services on cloud computing platforms.

At least 70 percent of existing information systems and IT services of ministries, sectors, and localities will be assessed, classified, and switched to cloud computing environment.

All of government agencies and State-owned enterprises, 70 percent of private enterprises, and over 50 percent of the population will use cloud computing services provided by domestic companies.

All of national databases will be deployed on cloud computing platforms at the National Data Center in accordance with legal regulations, ensuring cybersecurity and information safety, and will be managed and operated in a stable and efficient manner.

At least three "Make in Viet Nam" cloud computing platform products will be certified to meet international standards./.
