Here is the brief summary of the Government's responses to the COVID-19 pandemic that is spreading swiftly to 148 countries and territories around the world with at least 157,233 infection cases and 5,833 fatalities as of Sunday afternoon.
In Viet Nam, the Ministry of Health has reported 53 infection cases, of whom 16 had been cleared of the virus and discharged from hospitals.
All the current 37 patients have been confirmed since March 6, including 12 foreign nationals. They are treated at different clinics in Viet Nam with health conditions reportedly stable.
