Attending the Workshop were Mr. René Kunstler, Saxjob CEO; Mr. Michael Petzsche, Director of Saxjob International Internship Project; Dr. Nguyen Van Dai, Rector of Vocational School of Vietnam Farmers' Association, along with representatives of media, ministries, sectors, partners, guests in the field of study abroad and employment.

Chaired and spoke at the seminar, General Director of the Vietnam-Germany Media and Television Center Nguyen Trong Thang emphasized on huge opportunities for Vietnamese young people to study and work in Germany. He stresssed that good cooperation between the two governments as well as the growth of Vietnamese community are creating favorable conditions for Vietnamese youth to prosper in Germany. From 2010 until now, Vietnamese people have always been considered the most active immigrants in Germany, he noted.

At the seminar, Saxjob CEO René Kunstler emphasized that opportunities are always open to everyone in general, including Vietnamese youth. As German economy is diversified and the growth rate is high, Germany always requires a large human resource, in which, skilled young labor plays an important role. Human resources in Germany now and in the next 10 years are increasingly aging. Therefore, Vietnam's youth is one of the sources of support and driving force for German economic development, he stressed.

Other speakers gave many presentations on labor demand in Germany as well as study and job opportunities in this European country for young Vietnamese. These presentations have drawn attention of the participants at the seminar.

According to presentations, there are more than 8,000 Vietnamese enterprises in Germany, among them, in Berlin alone, there are 1,500 Vietnamese enterprises. Vietnamese enterprises are concentrated in the Eastern states, operating mainly in the fields of trade and services, restaurants, hotels, tourism, insurance, import and export, and small manufacturing.

The fields in high demand for labor in Germany are such as mechatronics, automation, nursing, etc. In these fields, fresh graduates can have a salary of about 2,000-3,000 Euro/month; those with 4-5 years of experience, high qualifications, salary can reach 4,000-5,000 Euro/month or higher, according to Saxjob CEO.

Dr. Nguyen Duc Hien, Director General of Havetco International Education, delighted to share his impression as the host of the event and as a participant at the seminar. Dr. Hien impressed the most with the message of Mr. Michael Petzsche, Director of the International Internship Project. Accordingly, the international internship project not only helps students with labor contracts in Germany, but also supports them in law and integration into German society. It is a very necessary responsibility of study abroad consulting companies like Saxjob, as well as to help students feel secure to come to Germany to study and work.
