China-backed Goertek, the world’s renowned supplier of acoustic components, has expanded its investment capital by $306 million for its factory for electronic and multimedia equipment located in Bac Ninh's Que Vo Industrial Park.

This is the second biggest project the company has undertaken since the start of 2022.

GoerTek has been operating in Vietnam since 2013 and has so far established two facilities in Bac Ninh and the central province of Nghe An.

In January, the manufacturer also committed an additional $400 million for its $100 million electronic manufacturing facility in WHA Industrial Zone 1 in Nghe An.

Goertek is one of three key suppliers for Apple in Vietnam, along with Foxconn and Luxshare.
