The General Department of Taxation has officially introduced the eTax application version 1.0 (eTax Mobile V1.0) on mobile devices. This represents a strong transformation of the tax sector in promoting modernization and digital transformation.

According to the General Department of Taxation, the eTax Mobile application version 1.0 (V1.0) provides services and supports for individual taxpayers to install and use on mobile devices. The launch of the application has clearly demonstrated the determination of the tax sector in digital transformation and better support for taxpayers.

With more than 60 million individuals who have been granted tax codes, the eTax Mobile application will help taxpayers easily contact tax authorities, access new policies and create a close connection between tax authorities and taxpayers.

Through the application, the taxpayers can search for their tax obligations such as: individual taxes (including agricultural land use tax; non-agricultural land use tax; personal income tax; taxes, fees and charges of the business households, business individuals including business households and individuals doing business in property leasing); fees from sanctioning of administrative violations in the field of tax, late payment interest and other revenues according to regulations provisions of law; financial obligations on land; and vehicle registration fee.

The notification lookup function includes: processing notice; notice of registration fee for cars and motorbikes.

The application allows users to look up notifications of processing, vehicle registration fee and documents such as tax declaration; tax settlement; tax registration dossiers; vehicle registration fees.

In addition, the application also provides other utilities to support taxpayers such as: look up dependent information; look up taxpayer information; presumptive tax; personal income tax calculator; price list of registration fees for cars and motorbikes; authorized bank; electronic tax payment banks; tax office's address and news.

Regarding account management, the application allows users to change registered information.

Personal settings and support are the features of the application to better support taxpayers.

During the running of the application, the General Department of Taxation will receive comments and feedback on problems of taxpayers to continue researching and perfecting the application
