The Ministry of Transport has sent a written proposal to Ha Noi authorities to designate hotels for crew members of foreign airlines in a bid to prevent COVID-19 infection.

The move also aims to ensure safety for foreign crew members and flights to and from Viet Nam.

Under the proposal, the ministry suggested three hotels, namely Pullman Hotel at No. 40 Cat Linh Street, Pan Pacific at No. 1 Thanh Nien Street, and Crow Plaza at No. 36 Le Duc Tho Street.

The ministry also asked the municipal authorities to well implement medical surveillance measures for the crew members and test those who show symptoms of fever, cough and shortness of breath./.
