The consortium comprises Flamingo Group JSC, Flamingo Dailai Resort JSC, and Central 319 JSC. It will develop the Uy No-Viet Hung residential project, which will cover more than 38 hectares in the former outskirts district of Dong Anh.
The project is planned as a modern urban area with housing and supporting amenities to meet local residential demand and support socio-economic development. It is also intended to align with Hanoi’s master urban development plan and Dong Anh’s local construction planning, the city said.
Flamingo has developed several large-scale resorts, including Flamingo Dai Lai in the northern province of Phu Tho, Flamingo Cat Ba in Hai Phong city, Flamingo Hai Tien in the central province of Thanh Hoa, and the five-star Nui Coc Lake international resort project in the northern province of Thai Nguyen, among others.
In the west of Hanoi, SJ Group JSC plans the 1,200-hectare Tien Xuan smart urban area project, which is expected to be a residential and service hub of the Hoa Lac science and technology city.
The complex will feature housing, education, healthcare, commerce, services, and other amenities, especially high-quality living space for scientists, experts, engineers, and students working and studying at the Hoa Lac High-tech Park and Hanoi National University.
In the southern part of the capital, on the outskirts, Vingroup (HoSE: VIC) last December broke ground on its 9,171-hectare Olympic Sports Urban Area project. With a total investment of up to VND925.65 trillion ($35.18 billion), the project is positioned as an integrated service-sports city.
