Viet Nam confirmed 15 new imported cases of COVID-19 on Friday, raising the national patient tally to 2,683.

Specifically, patient 2670 is a 19-year-old man in the southern province of An Giang.

He returned to Viet Nam on April 6 via Thuong Phuoc bordergate in Dong Thap Province.

He is being treated at the Hong Ngu Region General Hospital in Dong Thap.

Patient 2671 is a 53-year-old woman in Dien Chau District, Nghe An Province.

Patient 2672 is a 24-year-old woman in Do Son District, Hai Phong City.

Patient 2673 is a 26-year-old man in Do Son District, Hai Phong City.

Patient 2674 is 29-year-old man Duong Kinh District, Hai Phong City.

The above nationals entered Viet Nam on April 7 via the Ha Tien International Border Gate in the southern province of Kien Giang.

They are being treated at the locality’s Ha Tien City Medical Center.

Patient 2675 is a 17-year-old boy in Ho Chi Minh City’s District 2.

He flew from Canada to Ho Chi Minh City on March 25 and has been treated at the city’s Cu Chi field hospital.

Patient 2676 is a 29-year-old woman in Ho Chi Minh City’s Hoc Mon District.

Patient 2677 is a 37-year-old man in Van Giang District, Hung Yen Province.

Patient 2679 is a 29-year-old man in Ha Noi’s Ba Vi District.

Patient 2680 is a 30-year-old woman in Phu Vang District, Thua Thien-Hue Province.

Patient 2682 is a 29-year-old man in Ky An District, Ha Tinh Province.

Patient 2683 is a 32-year-old man in Kim Dong District, Hung Yen Province.

The aforesaid nationals took flights VietJet Air VJ3613 and VJ8859 from Japan to the central city of Da Nang on April 7.

They are being treated at the Da Nang Hospital for Lung Diseases.

Patient 2678 is a 52-year-old woman in Duc Tho District, Ha Tinh Province.

Patient 2681 is a 33-year-old man in Bo Trach District, Quang Binh Province.

Both of them were among passengers onboard the flight VN88 from Anglola to Quang Ninh-based Van Don airport on March 31.

They are being treated at the Bac Ninh Provincial General Hospital./.
