An exhibition on the Communist Party of Vietnam opened in Hanoi on January to commemorate the 91st founding anniversary of the ruling party and welcome the upcoming 13th National Party Congress.

Themed Our Party is Great, the exhibition is co-organised by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, the National Library of Vietnam, the Vietnam Military History Museum, and the Museum of Vietnamese Youth.

The exhibition features multiple sections, including one displaying photos and documents on the CPV’s history. In the photo, Deputy Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism Hoang Dao Cuong delivers a speech at the opening ceremony.

The exhibition reiterates the leading role of the Communist Party of Vietnam during the process of national liberation, Doi Moi (Renewal) and national construction. It also highlights the achievements that Vietnamese people have recorded in building and defending the socialist state under the clear-sighted leadership of the party.

It upholds the tradition of national patriotism, revolutionary struggle, belief and pride in the Party and President Ho Chi Minh among people of all social strata, especially the young generation.

The exhibits help visitors further understand the process of Party founding and development, as well as the leading role of the Party and President Ho Chi Minh during the struggle for national independence and freedom, and during the past wars against foreign invaders in the 20th century.

Organisers have reserved sections for different topics, including contributions of the People’s Army and the People’s Public Security Force to national construction and defence, the youth with the Party, books and documents on the Communist Party of Vietnam, propaganda paintings about the 13th National Party Congress.

Vietnam’s major achievements in socio-economic development and international integration are showcased at the exhibition.



One of the sections exhibits nearly 200 publications on the Communist Party of Vietnam leading the people to wrestle back national independence and freedom, build and defend the fatherland, and achieve important results during the current process of Renewal and international integration.

Many photos featuring the country’s achievements made in the Doi Moi (Renewal) process are displayed in the exhibition.


The exhibition has attracted crowds of young people to visit and learn about the Party and the country’s achievements.

A section highlights contributions by the People’s Army and People’s Security Force to national achievements, rescue work and peacekeeping missions of the United Nations.
