The agreement was signed by Ericsson Vietnam head Rita Mokbel and PTIT president Assoc. Prof. Dr. Dang Hoai Bac, in the presence of Vietnam's Minister of Information and Communications Nguyen Manh Hung.

As part of this collaboration, Ericsson will offer its Ericsson Educate platform to PTIT students, enabling access to a wide range of digital learning resources. The company will also undertake research collaboration with the institute in the areas of AI and Automation and offer PTIT students work integrated learning opportunities like industry projects and internships.
Ericsson will support the Ministry of Information and Communications in various upskilling initiatives, as Vietnam gears up for the nationwide deployment of 5G technology.
The Ericsson Educate platform is a comprehensive digital skills portal designed to provide learners with foundational knowledge in key technology areas including 5G, AI, machine learning, automation, blockchain, cloud computing, and more. By integrating content from the portal, this collaboration will provide PTIT students and professionals with access to high-quality digital learning resources.
This collaboration marks Ericsson’s second formal engagement with an educational institute in Vietnam under the programme, underscoring the company’s commitment to supporting Vietnam’s digital transformation journey. As the country looks to becoming a digital economy with 5G, upskilling of the students on 5G and the latest technologies will enable Vietnam to leverage the full potential of 5G and drive the digitalisation of the country.
