The 5G Innovation Hub will feature innovative 5G use cases that demonstrate the potential of the technology for consumers and businesses based on advanced, state-of-the-art equipment, trained resources, and interactive displays.
The 5G Innovation Hub will be designed as a co-creation space featuring a state-of-the-art sandbox network. It will be utilised to develop new use cases in collaboration with partners in Vietnam and other parts of the globe. Both the companies will promote the 5G Innovation Hub as a dynamic innovation environment for consumers and enterprises. The Innovation Hub will also support research and development.
To Manh Cuong, CEO of MobiFone said, "The 5G Innovation Hub will enable industries and businesses to realise the transformative potential of 5G, its relevance to their strategic long-term planning and as an enabler for their digital transformation initiatives."
Ericsson will share its global experiences on 5G commercial applications with MobiFone and offer support in establishing and maintaining the hub's operations, design consultancy, and service experience.
Rita Mokbel, president of Ericsson Vietnam said, "By working together with MobiFone and other ecosystem players in Vietnam, we will foster innovation that will support the country’s digital transformation initiatives and benefit local businesses. We will assist MobiFone in connecting with other overseas research centres and institutes, as well as Ericsson's partners, to make the Innovation hub truly experiential."

Ericsson was named top of the Frost Radar™ 5G Network Infrastructure Market analysis for the fourth consecutive year, highlighting the impact of the company’s strategy to meet the evolving needs of communications service providers.
