Since the beginning of the year to the end of May, Dong Nai Customs Department has answered more than 500 questions of businesses via online and offline methods, according to a report from the department.

Dong Nai Customs Department has strengthened IT application and effectively made use of modern equipment in customs operation like container scanners, e-customs seal, online camera system, e-tax payment and customs clearance 24/7, the National Single Window and ASEAN Single Window, creating favorable conditions for businesses, shortening the customs clearance time and improving the efficiency of Customs management.
The department has applied information technology in internal administration via the smooth operation and effective application of online connection on three levels (the general department-department and branch levels) for meetings, trainings to ensure the direction in a timely fashion amid Covid-19.
It has also effectively applied document management software such as Edoc and DNA-Office.
The department has also strengthened IT application in online interaction with businesses via the section of “online Customs procedure consultation”, and the DNCustoms-Info system, resolving difficulties for businesses in import and export activities.
Dong Nai Customs Department has reported more than 20 documents asking for direction for problems beyond its competency, and answered in excess of 500 questions of firms via online and offline methods.
It has answered 334 questions via the section of “online Customs procedure consultation”, increasing the total answered question to 24,000.
A total of 2,833 dossiers were processed via online public service. From March 1 to May 25, 2021, more than 37,000 dossiers were handled.
The department has updated 1,432 documents on its website for the dissemination of new policies, bringing the total number of updated documents to 58,303 for the research and archiving of internal documents; updated 97 documents on foreign websites, increasing the total number of documents to 6,955 for search and update of new documents for the business community.
As of May 25, more than 2,000 businesses participated in exchanging information via DNCustoms-Infor system. 1,142 questions and more than 25,600 documents were processed.
