Customs authorities always listen, share, and ponder difficulties with the business community.

"In the process of developing the Customs-Business partnership, Customs authorities always consider businesses as trusted partners, accompanying them in development. In which, Customs authorities put the interests of businesses first and consider that interest as the victory of Customs authorities. Businesses are partners who help Customs authorities complete their assigned political tasks such as collecting state budget, combating smuggling, and trade fraud...", said Deputy General Director Dinh Ngoc Thang.
Customs authorities always focus on building an image, pondering the difficulties of businesses, setting a goal of serving businesses at the fastest level, with a professional spirit, and valuing the satisfaction of businesses. Because the quality of service of Customs authorities is evaluated by businesses through evaluation systems.
Customs authorities ensure the balance between facilitation and control, combating smuggling. In the Customs-Business dialogues, each opinion of businesses is answered, demonstrating the commitment of Customs authorities in thoroughly answering the concerns and difficulties from the business community. Here, Customs authorities convey a lot of information that benefits enterprises and business associations, thereby improving the quality of dialogue and demonstrating the consistent direction from the General Department of Customs to provincial and city customs departments.
The relationship between enterprises and Customs authorities is built on trust, including objective and quality feedback and suggestions from the business community for Customs authorities to synthesize and build a legal framework suitable for the actual situation. Because investors and enterprises absorb and learn a lot of knowledge from other countries, reforms from abroad, Customs authorities listen, synthesize, and from that make suggestions and propose solutions that have brought effectiveness in the production and business activities of enterprises.
Besides the achieved results, Deputy General Director Dinh Ngoc Thang hopes that business associations and enterprises will have more interaction and build a team of officials suitable for the spirit of developing the Customs-Business partnership.
Besides its duties, Customs authorities provide advice to the Government, ministries, and sectors on developing logistics services. Therefore, logistics enterprises, warehouse, yard, port enterprises, and import-export enterprises are always ready, and in conjunction with their roles and responsibilities, need to improve their level of legal compliance, help to clear goods quickly, and reduce costs.
To do this, enterprises need to pay attention to building infrastructure, applying advanced technology, and training personnel to meet the requirements, reducing legal risks and risks in activities that Customs authorities have warned about.
Customs authorities hope to receive feedback and opinions from the business community. It is the contributions of the business community that have formed, built, and developed a strong Customs force, contributing to the construction and development of the country's economy today.
