According to the General Department of Vietnam Customs, in the first six months of the year, the sector received 1,196 samples for goods analysis and classification, and issued results of verification for 1,108 samples.

Customs issued 117 notifications of goods classification results, commented on 39 samples for advance analysis and classification, responded to 33 samples, and has verified 14 samples.

The Customs authorities verified 594 cases of mineral products used as building materials, slag and other items, and issued Notification on results for 530 cases.

The General Department of Vietnam Customs launched an operation for quality inspection and food safety inspection in line with the road map of the project issued together with the Prime Minister’s Decision 38/QD - TTg.
