With 213 new COVID-19 cases confirmed this evening, the national patient tally reached 11,212.

The latest patients include three three imported cases, one repatriated from Japan and the rest returned to Viet Nam via Moc Bai international border gate in the southern province of Tay Ninh, according to the Ministry of Health.

All the others are domestic cases recorded in Bac Giang (138), Ho Chi Minh City (38), Bac Ninh (21), Binh Duong (12), and Lang Son (one), said the ministry.

The same day, 303 patients were discharged from hospitals, raising the total recoveries to 4,543, the ministry added.

The death toll stood at 61./.
