The same day, the ministry reported 1,711 recoveries, taking the total number of recovered cases to 1,009,277. Among the current positive cases, 6,854 are in critical conditions.
The ministry also announced further 199 fatalities, bringing the nation’s COVID-19 death toll to 26,260, representing 2 percent of the total infections.
The nation has administered 127,353,020 COVID-19 vaccine doses, an increase of 502,169 doses from Saturday./.
