Delegates visit Danh Mountain ginseng products.

Ngo Quoc Hung, Standing Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Tan Yen District, said that the conference was organised to promote the consumption of Danh Mountain ginseng products in domestic and foreign markets, which are associated with the introduction of origin, quality, growing, care and processing processes.

The event also created opportunities for businesses and traders to find partners and sign contracts to sell products to the people in the area.

At this time, Tan Yen District has about 125 hectares of ginseng growning in communes: Viet Lap, Lien Chung and Cao Thuong town. It is expected that this year, the district will have more than 18 hectares for harvesting tubers, with an estimated output of about 30 tonnes; 115 hectares for flower harvesting with anestimated output of more than 60 tonnes.

Current products being processed include flowers, fresh ginseng roots, ginseng tea, shampoo, soluble ginseng, soft drinks, energy drinks, nutritional drinks, ginseng wine, and ginseng flower tea.

From 2022 up to now, Tan Yen district has connected the consumption of Danh Mountain ginseng products with many distribution and retail systems of large corporations and supermarkets, which are sold on the Shopee trading floor, many pharmaceutical companies, and confectionery companies.
