The deal was signed last Friday in Hanoi, marking a step forward in CMC’s international expansion strategy and efforts to strengthen Vietnam’s cyber security capabilities.
Under the agreement, the two companies will combine IGLOO’s advanced security technologies with CMC Cyber Security’s local deployment and managed service capabilities, targeting both public and private sector clients.
The partnership will focus particularly on the banking, financial services, and insurance (BFSI) segment – one of the most exposed to increasingly sophisticated cyber threats as digitalization accelerates.
CMC Cyber Security also plans to deploy solutions within IGLOO’s Security Operations Center (SOC) ecosystem, leveraging AI-powered tools to enhance real-time threat detection, monitoring and automated response capabilities.
The two firms will also jointly explore business opportunities in Vietnam, aiming to scale cybersecurity solutions across enterprises and government agencies.
The collaboration aligns with the broader “Go Global” strategy of parent CMC, which is seeking to deepen international partnerships and deliver services that meet global cybersecurity standards.
HoonMan Park, representative from IGLOO, said the partnership would enable faster deployment of its solutions in Vietnam while strengthening cybersecurity resilience for both South Korean and Vietnamese enterprises operating in the market.
By integrating IGLOO’s technologies with its local expertise, CMC Cyber Security is positioning itself to capture growing demand in a market where cybersecurity is becoming a core component of digital economy development.
