During the meeting, the Government reviewed the implementation of the Resolution No. 128/NQ-CP adopting provisional guidelines on safe adaptation to the COVID-19 pandemic and the Ministry of Health's Decision No.4800 on the temporary Guidance for implementation of the Government’s Resolution No. 128/NQ-CP.

The Resolution was issued after the National Steering Committee for COVID-19 Prevention and Control, led by Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh decided to shift away from "Zero “COVID-19” policy.

PM Pham asked the Cabinet members to discuss and propose measures which should be carried out during the last two months of the year with the aim of reviving economy and ensuring economic growth and social security.

In the next two months, the Government will draft crucial plans on economic restructuring for 2021-2025 period, green growth, and a master plan and economic recovery for the 2022-2023 period.
