Enthusiastic working atmosphere
With a large workforce, on the first working day after Tet, nearly all workers at the Garment 10 Corporation - Joint Stock Company (Garco 10) in Hanoi’s Gia Lam District returned to work in an enthusiastic atmosphere and excitement.
Than Duc Viet, CEO of Garco 10, said that the corporation has received orders to ensure employment for workers until the end of the second quarter of 2025. Its units and workshops began production on the very first day back to work after Tet to ensure the progress of the signed contracts.

In Bac Ninh Province, 14 industrial zones and 26 industrial clusters are in operation, generating jobs for nearly 450,000 workers. After the Lunar New Year holiday, a vibrant working atmosphere can be felt at the units and businesses based in these industrial zones and clusters. According to Vuong Quoc Tuan, Chairman of Bac Ninh Provincial People’s Committee, almost all workers in the province have returned to work after the holiday, bringing a renewed motivation and mindset for production and business activities.
In Bac Giang Province, the working atmosphere was resumed on the third and fourth days of the Lunar New Year. So far, 100 percent of workers have been back to work. More than 8,000 workers in Bac Giang registered to work during the Lunar New Year 2025, an increase of over 3,000 people compared to 2024.
Along with Hanoi, Bac Ninh, and Bac Giang, many other localities across the country have also resumed production. The working atmosphere at many factories and industrial zones is quite vibrant, with workers eagerly starting their shifts.
One of the reasons helping businesses stabilize their workforce right from the beginning of the New Year is that they have implemented policies to retain workers and improve their welfare to reduce employment fluctuations after Tet.
Nguyen Duc Thang, Chairman of the Trade Union chapter at the Dap Cau Garment Corporation Joint Stock Company in Bac Ninh City, said that last year the company implemented various policies to retain and attract workers. The company organized many activities to care for employees during Tet and ensure they could return to work right after the holiday. These activities included giving employees the full nine-day holiday, offering an average Tet bonus of VND10 million per person, and giving gifts.
Determination to fulfill tasks
Than Duc Viet added, “Targeting a double-digit growth rate, the Vietnamese economy will focus on three pillars: investment, exports, and consumption. Garco 10 is one of the key links in the supply chain for consumer goods, textiles, and fashion products both globally and domestically. We are optimistic and confident that 2025 will bring many positive signals, allowing us to achieve the set goals.”
According to Le Tien Truong, Chairman of Vietnam National Textile and Garment Group (Vinatex), the year 2025 marks important milestones for the country. Therefore, Vinatex will continue to harness the internal strengths of each enterprise to build the collective strength of the entire group.
To achieve its goals, in addition to implementing policies to attract and utilize high-quality human resources, Vinatex will continue to strengthen research and development of new products, expand niche markets, and create unique value alongside traditional products. At the same time, it will build technological advantages and market barriers to ensure the group’s sustainability.
Experts predict that in 2025, both the domestic and global economies will face numerous difficulties and challenges. However, with increasingly enhanced capabilities, businesses have become able to adapt to a rapidly changing and unpredictable market./.
