Vietnam's trade surplus was estimated at US$710 million in the six-month period.
Some products have high export value, including telephone and components valued at US$28.58 billion; computers and electronic products at US$27 billion, up 13%; and machinery, equipment, tools and parts at US$21.3 billion, up 24.3%. Agricultural exports were estimated at US$15.8 billion from January to June, up 17.9%, accounting for 8.5% of the country's total exports.
The state budget revenue from imports and exports in June 2022 was at VND38,810 billion, totaling VND226,588 billion in the six-month period, or 64.4% of the plan and 15.4% higher than a year earlier.
