Becamex Binh Dinh and PV GAS CNG sign an MoU on clean energy and digital transformation to develop a green industrial ecosystem
Supporting this direction, Becamex Binh Dinh JSC is steadily developing an eco-industrial park model, helping businesses adopt ESG practices while contributing to the growth of a green manufacturing ecosystem across the province.
ESG - a new measure of competitiveness
Speaking at the seminar "ESG - The Green Manufacturing Transformation Trend: Unlocking Opportunities to Enhance Competitiveness and Attract Investment in Gia Lai," jointly organized by the Gia Lai Provincial People's Committee and Becamex Binh Dinh on June 26, 2026, Chairman of the Gia Lai Provincial People's Committee Pham Anh Tuan said ESG is no longer an optional trend but an important benchmark for assessing the quality of development among businesses, investors, and localities.
As international markets evolve rapidly, business partners are evaluating not only product quality but also the entire production process, from energy use, emissions control, and raw material traceability to labor conditions and corporate governance transparency.
This means businesses seeking to expand into new markets, participate in global supply chains, or access green financing must gradually meet ESG standards.
| Becamex Binh Dinh was recently recognized among the Top 30 Outstanding Green Energy and Environmental Enterprises of Vietnam 2026 at the 2026 World Energy and Environment Forum - Vietnam, held on July 8, 2026, under the theme "Vietnam's Pathway to Net Zero." It was also one of three enterprises from Gia Lai honored in this category. |
According to the provincial chairman, when implemented effectively, ESG should not be viewed as a cost burden but as a long-term investment that helps businesses optimize operations, improve productivity, strengthen competitiveness, and enhance their position in international markets. Companies can start with practical measures such as improving energy efficiency, managing water and waste more effectively, digitizing production data, and gradually strengthening governance systems.
Building a green industrial ecosystem
Nguyen Van Lang, Chief Executive Officer of Becamex Binh Dinh, said the biggest obstacle to ESG implementation is the high upfront investment cost, particularly for small and medium-sized enterprises. To address this challenge, the company has developed an eco-industrial park model with shared infrastructure. At Becamex VSIP Binh Dinh, businesses receive not only production space but also support for environmental solutions, clean energy, data management, and services that facilitate the green transition.
The eco-industrial park model, supported by shared infrastructure, helps businesses significantly reduce upfront investment costs while lowering energy expenses by 10-20%, reducing water consumption by about 30%, and cutting waste treatment costs by approximately 15%. It also makes it easier for businesses to meet international emissions and environmental standards.
Beyond infrastructure development, Becamex Binh Dinh has partnered with CNG Vietnam to develop clean energy solutions and with Glassdome of South Korea to build data management systems, measure emissions, and provide consulting services that support businesses in developing a green industrial ecosystem within the industrial park.

Attracting higher-quality investment
For Gia Lai, developing eco-industrial parks aligns with its strategy to transform its growth model by prioritizing projects that use advanced technology, produce low emissions, use resources efficiently, and create long-term value for the province.
The province will continue pursuing a development strategy built on three pillars: green energy, clean data, and green technology. It will also continue advancing administrative reform, improving transparency, and supporting businesses throughout project implementation.
With the participation of Becamex Binh Dinh and its strategic partners, the eco-industrial park model is making ESG implementation more affordable for businesses while helping create a stronger investment environment across the province.
Over the long term, developing eco-industrial parks alongside ESG implementation will not only strengthen business competitiveness but also give Gia Lai a competitive advantage in attracting high-quality investment. It will provide the foundation for shifting from investment attraction based on quantity to a greater focus on quality, supporting a green, sustainable growth model and deeper integration into global value chains.
