Bamboo Airways is to offer millions of discounted tickets on domestic flights during the 2021 Lunar New Year, known locally as Tet, in order to meet the increase in travel demand from local passengers.

Travelers are able to book tickets through the airline’s official website, ticket offices, and travel agents nationwide at the special price of VND99,000. The attractive price is set to be applied on air routes that have a high travel demand, such as Ho Chi Minh City to Hanoi, Vinh, Thanh Hoa, Hai Phong, and Van Don, in addition to Hanoi to Buon Ma Thuot, Pleiku, and Quy Nhon.

The valid promotional programmes on offer from the airline will be applied to tickets that go on sale during Tet.

The Civil Aviation Administration of Vietnam (CAAV) recently announced that Bamboo Airways led all Vietnamese airlines in terms of on-time performance (OTP) in August, with an average rate of 95.6%.

According to the CAAV report, between July 19 and August 18, Bamboo Airways operated a total of 2,040 flights, of which 1,950 took off and landed on time. The airlines’ OTP was therefore higher than the sector’s average rate of 89.6%.
