The launching ceremony of Bamboo Airways’ representative office took place at Sydney Airport on November 9.

With a favourable location, Bamboo Airways’ representative office at Sydney Airport will serve as a contact office, overseeing operation and attracting a wide range of potential customers in Australia.

It is also of great significance for Bamboo Airways’ international cooperation and service network expansion on the global scale.

Attempt to reach the world

Since its establishment, Australia is one of the potential markets that Bamboo Airways has aimed to serve. The airline has quickly expanded operations to this market.

Bamboo Airways has launched regular nonstop services connecting Vietnam and Australia since February 19, offering passengers more time-saving travel compared with transit flights.

In particular, the airline operates the weekly nonstop Ho Chi Minh City-Melbourne/Sydney services with two return flights for each route, adding to one return Hanoi-Melbourne flight per week. Bamboo Airways has powered these routes with its ultra-modern wide-body Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner.

This has vividly proved Bamboo Airways’ efforts to expand its network to 40 international routes in 2022. Besides Australia, Bamboo Airways has quickly increased frequencies and launched new routes to many destinations in Northeast Asia, Southeast Asia, and Europe (Germany, UK, and more).

In the coming time, the airline will focus on promoting international long-haul connectivity to major continental airports, making Vietnam an aviation gateway of Southeast Asia and Asia, thus leveraging the country’s growing tourism industry.
