Many visitors were eager to explore and shop for eco-friendly products. Green, safe, and natural goods quickly became the highlight of the event, reflecting Vietnam’s fast-growing shift toward healthy, sustainable, and environmentally friendly consumption.
Nguyen Hoang Anh, Director of Mu Cang Chai Edible and Medicinal Mushroom Production Co., Ltd., said customer turnout far exceeded expectations on the fair’s opening morning.
“We sold out several hundred kilogrammes of mushrooms and are now restocking to serve visitors this afternoon and tomorrow,” he noted.
His company’s mushroom products have obtained ISO 2018 and three-star OCOP certification since 2023 and are verified by the provincial agricultural quality management agency. They are now available in major supermarkets in Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City and exported to Taiwan (China).
Another busy booth belongs to Thien Nhien Viet Import-Export Co., Ltd.
“Since the morning, our team hasn’t had a moment to rest because of the overwhelming number of visitors,” said Khuat Thi Thanh Huyen, the company’s Northern Market Development Manager.
Huyen shared that the company’s drinks and extracts made from pennywort, fish mint, perilla, and celery are completely natural, with no added flavorings or preservatives, and use only natural sweeteners like stevia and rock sugar.
Produced under VietGAP standards, the products are now exported to 28 countries, including demanding markets such as Germany, the UK, France, the Netherlands, Japan, and the Republic of Korea. Their pennywort extract was also the first Vietnamese product of its kind exported to Europe.
“Vietnamese consumers are increasingly looking for green, safe, and healthy products. This is a positive signal and an opportunity for local enterprises to expand both domestically and internationally,” Huyen said.
Nguyen Thi Phuong Hoa from Ho Chi Minh City said she came to Hanoi to explore and buy natural products for her family, while Hanoi's resident Nguyen Thanh Long praised the variety and quality of Vietnamese goods, adding that regular fairs would help promote local brands.
According to business representatives, the Autumn Fair 2025 serves not only as a shopping destination but also as a platform connecting producers and consumers, helping enhance the reputation and competitiveness of Vietnamese products in the era of green and sustainable consumption.
