The Ministry of Health confirmed 463 new COVID-19 cases this evening, bringing the national caseload to 27,863.

The latest patients include two Vietnamese who entered Viet Nam via Ha Tien international border gate in the southern province of Kien Giang on July 9.
The locally-transmitted infections are residents in Ho Chi Minh City (200), Binh Duong (140), Long An (33), Dong Nai (19), Phu Yen (18), Quang Ngai (14), Khanh Hoa (13), Dong Thap (8), Ha Noi (5), Binh Phuoc (4), Tay Ninh (3), Bia Ria-Vung Tau (1), Binh Dinh (1), Vinh Phuc (1) and Thai Binh (1). Of these, 383 were detected at quarantine camps or lockdown areas.
These new cases raised the total number of cases on Saturday to 1,853, setting a new single-day record of infections since the outbreak of the pandemic.
The same day, 220 patients were declared free of the virus, bringing the total number of recovered cases to 9,204.
The ministry also announced two more Coronavirus-related deaths, taking the death toll to 112.
