Vice President of Data Center Planning and Delivery at Amazon Web Services (AWS) Kerry Person made the above statement during his meeting with Minister of Public Security Luong Tam Quang in Ha Noi on March 4.

Person praised Viet Nam's vision in fostering digital transformation, innovation, and the development of secure and sustainable digital infrastructure.

The Vice President took the occasion to express his wish to strengthen substantive cooperation with agencies under the Ministry of Public Security as well as Vietnamese partners, in compliance with Vietnamese and international law.

He expressed confidence that the joint efforts of both sides will further promote Viet Nam–U.S. economic and trade relations, bringing practical benefits to both parties.

Luong, for his part, hailed Amazon's commitment and long-term cooperation strategy in Viet Nam.

Viet Nam is a market with great development potential, among the fastest-growing economies in Southeast Asia, possessing a highly qualified research and development engineering workforce and a favorable investment environment, he noted, adding that these factors align well with the needs of foreign enterprises, including U.S. companies.

Based on the Viet Nam–U.S. comprehensive strategic partnership, the Ministry of Public Security will continue to create stable and favorable environment for businesses, including Amazon, to launch operation in Viet Nam, in accordance with Vietnamese law and international legal regulations, stated the host./.
