As many as 230 Vietnamese citizens stranded in Malaysia due to the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic are to be brought home today, August 13.

The returnees will be transfered to a quarantine area in Ninh Thuan province
as soon as they land at the airport
The citizens boarded VietJet Air VJ7012 flight which is scheduled to land at Cam Ranh International Airport at 13:30.
As soon as the aircraft lands, all crew members and passengers will undergo medical check-ups and will be transferred to quarantine areas in Ninh Thuan province line with regulations on COVID-19 prevention and control.
Those with COVID-19 symptoms will be taken to the Ninh Thuan Provincial General Hospital or Tuberculosis and Pulmonary Disease Hospital for isolation and treatment.
