Accordingly, for the import tax incentive program for imported components for automobile production and assembly, by the end of September, 15 enterprises applied for the tax incentive program for auto parts according to Article 7a of Decree 57/2020/ND-CP with the tax refund in 2021 of VND4,914.3 billion.

Of which, the tax amount funded at Hanoi Customs Department was VND60.8 billion, Hai Phong Customs Department VND644.2 billion, Ha Nam Ninh Customs Department VND1,480.9 billion and Quang Nam Customs Department VND2,728.4 billion.

The General Department of Customs said local customs departments has been receiving and reviewing tax refund applications from enterprises and will report to the General Department of Customs when tax refund data is available.

As for raw materials, supplies and components for the production and assembly of supporting industrial products prioritized for development for the automobile manufacturing and assembling industry in the 2020 – 2024 period specified in Article 7b of Decree 57/2020/ND-CP, so far, Customs has received applications of eight enterprises for joining the program.

In which, the first period of this program was from July 10, 2020 to December 31, 2020, and two enterprises were refunded with total tax of VND354 billion until September 16, 2021 by customs.

Specifically, Bac Ninh Customs Department refunded the tax amount of VND287 million to an enterprise and Ha Nam Ninh Customs Department refunded VND67 million to an enterprise.
