   Technical Services and Import-Export Company Limited (TECHSIMEX), formerly the Materials Supply Company - Department of Experts (Government Office), was established in February 1978, with the main function and task of providing materials and equipment for foreign experts working at construction works and projects in Vietnam such as: Hoa Binh Hydropower Plant, Tri An Hydropower Plant, Pha Lai Thermal Power Plant, etc. In March 1994, the Company was transferred from the Government Office to VCCI. In December 2010, the Company converted its operating model to the form of a one-member limited liability company with the name of Technical Services and Import-Export Company Limited.    The main fields of operation of TECHSIMEX at present are: (1) Trading, including importing fertilizers, iron, non-ferrous metals, auto and motorbike spare parts, machinery, materials, construction equipment, electronic and refrigeration supplies, materials and equipment for laboratories, medical equipment, household goods, chemicals, and agricultural products; (2) Retailing goods including technological foods, household appliances, household electrical appliances, cosmetics, and textiles; (3) Providing technical services, including consulting, designing, supplying, installing, repairing, and maintaining civil and industrial thermal, electrical, and refrigeration equipment systems, and scientific equipment; (4) Office rental services and other services.
