Unit information

   VCCI Central Highlands is one of the branches of the Vietnam Federation of Commerce and Industry, established in 1989. The area of operation of VCCI Central Highlands is in 11 provinces and cities in the Central Highlands including: Quang Binh, Quang Tri, Thua Thien Hue, Da Nang, Quang Nam, Quang Ngai, Binh Dinh, Kon Tum, Gia Lai, Dak Lak and Dak Nong. Currently, VCCI Da Nang has its headquarters in Da Nang and two representative offices in Binh Dinh and Dak Lak.

   After more than 30 years of construction and development, the role and position of VCCI Central - Central Highlands has been increasingly enhanced at all levels of government and the business community in the region. VCCI Central - Central Highlands has continuously built good cooperative relationships with domestic and foreign partners. These are the foundations for the unit to continue to perform its functions and tasks well and actively contribute to the implementation of the vision of the 7th Congress of VCCI:

   "Strong businesses - Prosperous nation". VCCI Central - Central Highlands has been effectively implementing the following activities: Improving the business environment; protecting the legitimate rights and interests of the business community and employers; supporting the improvement of business competitiveness; promoting trade and investment.

   With a team of dynamic staff, increasingly improved professional and technical qualifications, a high sense of responsibility and enthusiasm for the mission of VCCI "Connecting and promoting the development of businesses, business associations that are sustainable, civilized, integrated and on par with the world, striving to build Vietnam into a prosperous and happy developed country by 2045", VCCI Central - Central Highlands has been, is and will always accompany all levels of government and business community, actively contributing to the common prosperity of the Central - Central Highlands region.

   In recent years, VCCI Central - Central Highlands has been trusted by local authorities to implement programs to improve the business environment, improve the Provincial Competitiveness Index (PCI), especially the assessment and ranking of the Department, Industry, District and Town Competitiveness Index (DDCI). Thereby, contributing to improving the business environment in a substantial way in the provinces and cities in the area of operation. In addition, the activities of assessing and reviewing business support policies at the local level and recommendations have been highly appreciated by many provinces.

   VCCI Central - Central Highlands has commented on more than 90 legal documents at the request of localities; provided training to improve capacity for more than

   1,000 civil servants on improving the business environment and training for more than 5,000 enterprises. In addition to training activities, VCCI Central - Central Highlands also implements consulting and support activities for enterprises through the establishment of a business support consulting network and an integration consulting group. To promote trade and investment, VCCI Central - Central Highlands has organized more than 50 conferences and worked with diplomatic agencies, international organizations, corporations, and companies to visit, work, and learn about the business investment environment, business development situation, and economic development in the region.

   In addition, aiming at the goal of sustainable development, environmental protection, and climate change adaptation, VCCI Central Highlands has coordinated with international agencies and organizations: UNDP, USAID,... to implement projects and activities in Da Nang, Binh Dinh and localities in the region.

   For three decades, VCCI Central - Central Highlands has always strived for the development of the business community, for the prosperity of the Central - Central Highlands region!

   Responsibility, trust, effective cooperation and mutual development are always the motto of VCCI Central - Central Highlands.
