Mr. Nguyen Van Nguyen's family (Ca Mau) has a mini grocery to sell water and foods to students. In mid-April, the locality distributed the 3rd round of subsidies to households affected by the COVID-19 epidemic, but his family did not receive it. Mr. Nguyen asked, is it right for the locality to do so?

In this regard, the Department of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs of Ca Mau province replied as follows:

Mr. Nguyen Van Nguyen's household selling coffee and school supplies is a side business of the family, not the main occupation to support himself and his family. Selling groceries and farming are the main occupations of his family.

During the time of social distancing, the profession of selling groceries is an essential commodity that does not stop working, from which the commune determined that Mr. Nguyen Van Nguyen was not eligible to implement the support policy as prescribed.
