VCCI strengthens coordination to support employees

Due to the prolonged COVID-19 pandemic, a part of businesses and employees still face many difficulties in work and life.

Recently, the Ministry of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs (MOLISA), Vietnam General Confederation of Labor (VGCL), Vietnam Social Insurance, Vietnam Federation of Commerce and Industry (VCCI) and the Vietnam Association of Small and Medium Enterprises (VNASME) jointly implemented the Signing Ceremony of the Cooperation Program on supporting workers, employers and developing the labor market.
The program will coordinate to implement and evaluate the results of policies to support employees and employers such as Resolution No. 68, deploying support for housing rental policies for employees...
In particular, VGCL shall assume the prime responsibility for, and coordinate with the MOLISA, VCCI, and VNASME to study and summarize. model "Flexible salary payment" to support businesses and employees, ensure compliance with labor laws, create favorable conditions for employees and employers, build building harmonious, stable and progressive labor relations in accordance with the spirit of Directive No. 37-CT/TW dated September 3, 2019 of the Secretariat of the Party Central Committee.
According to Mr. Dao Ngoc Dung, Minister of MOLISA: "Over the past time, businesses and workers have really focused their hearts. With those determinations, today's meeting was held. We will have new changes, work together to implement and evaluate the results of policies to support employees and employers."
In addition, the program coordinates the implementation of solutions to support employees and employers and develop the labor market, ensuring social security, specifically as follows:
Firstly, to implement drastically and effectively, ensuring the progress of tasks and solutions of the Program on socio-economic recovery and development according to Resolution No. 11/NQ-CP dated January 30, 2022 government.
Secondly, ensure the achievement of the goal of developing harmonious and stable labor relations. and progress in the new situation. Good connection of supply and demand and sustainable labor market development, timely supply of quality labor to the market.
Thirdly, continue to effectively implement social security and social welfare policies, especially social insurance policies, to ensure sustainable social security for employees.

Assessing this issue, according to Vice Chairman of VCCI Hoang Quang Phong, which is a representative organization of employers, in recent years, VCCI has always grasped, according to closely monitor the actual situation, promptly reflect the voice of the business community, make specific proposals and recommendations, and always closely coordinate with MOLISSA and VGCL and related agencies and organizations in the process of advising, developing and implementing policies to support employees and employers facing difficulties caused by the pandemic.
Appreciating the signing of the cooperation program between the 5 agencies, the Vice Chairman of VCCI emphasized that the cooperation program shows the high sense of responsibility of the participating agencies in accompanying the employees. and employers, support the two sides to overcome the immediate difficulties caused by the epidemic, quickly recover and develop production and business, keep jobs and gradually increase the income of employees, stabilize and develop the labor market.
The Vice Chairman of VCCI also committed to always accompany the agencies that signed the Coordination Program to soon effectively implement the contents of the tasks set out in the Program, to provide timely support to employees and employees. employment in the near future.
In fact, in the past time, MOLISA has actively coordinated with relevant ministries, branches and agencies to propose to the Party and State, and submit to the Government for promulgation many policies. There is no precedent to support workers and employers facing difficulties due to the COVID-19 pandemic.


In addition, the Ministry also promptly advised, warned and proposed to take measures not to disrupt the labor supply chain, quickly recover and stabilize the labor market.
