At the meeting, on the basis of the draft program on coordination of propaganda on sea and islands between the Navy Command and VCCI for the period of 2023-2030 and the following years, the two sides reached agreements on six contents.

Accordingly, the two parties will jointly exchange information and experience in activities, participating in a number of activities of each party in accordance with their functions and tasks; consulting, introducing and creating conditions for Navy soldiers to return to their localities after completing their military service; helping to build Navy businesses to develop the economy in association with national defense and security.

VCCI and the Navy will coordinate to perform the work of gathering entrepreneurs, businesses and business associations to build a political base, implementing the following activities: Mass mobilization; preventing and overcoming consequences of natural disasters, storms and floods; repaying gratitude, implementing the policy of military rear.

The Navy will help enterprises perform their duties, produce and do business in the waters under Vietnam's sovereignty; act as a solid support for enterprises to perform their production and business tasks while contributing to protecting the country's sovereignty over seas and islands.

Mr. Hoang Quang Phong, Vice President of VCCI, said: "The propaganda on the homeland's sea and islands is a very important task. The Navy is the force that directs, guides, organizes and implements propaganda activities while social officials, including businesses and entrepreneurs, must be actively involved in this. We greatly appreciate the efforts of the Navy Command to regularly support us in organizing propaganda programs to the business community about this. VCCI is assigned by the Party and State to improve the business environment, promote international integration, and enhance business competitiveness. And in order to have a good business environment, there must be a stable and peaceful environment, including the contribution of the Navy in maintaining a peaceful environment.

Regarding the joint program of sea and island propaganda between VCCI and the Navy, Mr. Hoang Quang Phong said: "The cause of propaganda about the sea and homeland islands is very necessary to implement regularly, continuously and with the flexibility to be suitable for each object, each region, each area, with priority in each group of businesses. We also separate different business groups to have appropriate propaganda activities. We hope that the Navy in its functions and tasks will support and accompany us for effective propaganda.”

Mr. Nguyen Linh Anh, Deputy Editor-in-Chief in charge of Business Forum Magazine, said: "Business Forum Magazine has many publications. After the signing ceremony of the cooperation program on the sea and islands, we will develop a full and detailed program and outline for each group of content on each publication. We hope the Navy will accompany us in developing and implementing this detailed propaganda program."
