Recommendation on inadequacies in contractor selection of projects invested by parent company - Song Da Corporation: According to the current bidding regulations, enterprises with capital contribution of more than 30% of the parent company are not allowed participation in bidding packages of projects invested by the parent company. This will hinder the creation of jobs for the member units through the investment of the parent company.

The Song Da Corporation proposes to amend the bidding regulations, to allow units in the parent-child corporation to be participated equally in bidding as well as other enterprises for bidding packages in the projects invested by the parent company.

Responded by units: The Ministry of construction

Official letter: 1862/BXD - PC, dated: 2017-08-11

Responded contents:

This proposal relates to the inadequacies of the law on tendering which should be under the responsibility of the Ministry of Planning and Investment.
