Being a typical example of continuing manufacturing and marketing development amid the Covid-19 pandemic outbreak, with effective pandemic prevention measures and manufacturing innovations over the past two years, Haplast Group has maintained its continuous business and production development, ensured full employment and income for all employees without leaving anyone to quit their job. Therefore, the company has significantly contributed to the economic growth of Hung Yen province. This is evidenced by Haplast Group’s outperforming business and export results despite the complicated development of the Covid-19 pandemic in many major markets.

In 2020, Haplast Group exported 1,000 tons of packaging a month, earning nearly VND300 billion. In 2021, the firm exported 1,500 tons of packaging a month, earning revenue of more than VND500 billion. The year marked its entry to the 80th market in the world and its double revenue in the United States.

Haplast Group has adopted a series of active solutions to prevent the pandemic and ensure absolute safety for all employees”.

Accordingly, Haplast Group fostered communications and obliged all employees to strictly apply the pandemic prevention measures at work and at home; established a daily inspection team to monitor epidemic prevention in the workplace; focused on keeping the working environment clean; and provided full medical equipment and supplies for epidemic prevention. At the same time, the company stopped annual gatherings and supplied hand sanitizers and soaps in the washrooms and in the workplace. It also strictly controlled incoming and outgoing people. In addition to the medical declaration, body temperature check, compulsory facemask wearing and regular hand disinfection, vehicles entering the company were disinfected by security guards to ensure the highest safety.

Besides excellent business outperformance, stable employment and income for employees, Haplast Group continued to invest and expand production capacity in the difficult context of the Covid-19 pandemic, thus demonstrating the strategic vision of the Haplast leadership to realize its sustainable development goals in the future.

While making efforts to live through difficulties caused by the Covid-19 pandemic, Haplast Group still carried out its corporate responsibility to the community and society and supported the frontline forces in the fight against the epidemic. For example, at the launching ceremony of the “All people unite to fight against Covid-19" movement at the Hung Yen Provincial Convention Center on June 18, 2021, Haplast Group contributed VND40 million and 100 disinfectant bottles to the province. On June 29, 2021, the group funded VND10 million along with facemasks and hand sanitizers to An Thi district to the Covid-19 prevention. On July 1 and 2, 2021, Haplast supported materials for Covid-19 prevention and control in Yen My and Khoai Chau districts.
