Circular 50/2015 / TT-BGTVT regulating the distance between two gas stations for the suburban area is 10,000m. However, due to the specific characteristics of the river area in Ngoc Hien, Ca Mau Province, the canals and rivers are intertwined, so the traveling of people here is very difficult.

Mr. Pho would like to request competent authoritys to guide the procedures and forms, so that businesses can apply for permission to open petroleum retail stores with smaller distances as prescribed in Circular 50/2015 / TT-BGTVT.

Regarding this issue, The Ministry of Transport answers as follows:

In order to solve the connection of branch roads to national highways (including paths to and from petrol stations) has been specified in detail from Article 20 to Article 32 of Circular No. 50/2015 / TT-BGTVT and Circular. No. 35/2017 / TT-BGTVT.

b) Ensuring that the traffic safety and traffic organization conditions are consistent with the actual conditions at the connection location ”.
