Son Tra Peninsula, a famous travel destination in Da Nang, along with the city's iconic bridges and pagodas are resplendent in an ocean of white clouds.

Da Nang, dubbed the 'city of bridges", bursts through the clouds.

The central city, which neighbors popular ancient town Hoi An, is famed for its long, sandy beaches, especially My Khe.

Da Nang, which has won global attention for its annual international fireworks competitions and spectacular Golden Bridge, has improved on transport, healthcare, commercial, and service infrastructure in the past few years to cope with a tourist surge.

Da Nang is additionally known as the "city of lights".

Dragon Bridge, a symbol of the country's tourism hotspot, is covered by thick clouds.

The bridge opened to traffic on March 29, 2013, marking the 38th anniversary of the city's liberation, and cost VND1.5 trillion ($65 million) to build. It is 666 meters long and 37.5 meters wide and has six lanes. It breathes fire and water every Saturday and Sunday night at 9 p.m, and makes the city shine in the night with 15,000 LED lights.

Clouds drift across Tran Thi Ly Bridge, originally a railway bridge, and called De Lattre de Tassigny during the French colonial period.

After 1975, the bridge was named Tran Thi Ly and upgraded for more road traffic in 2013. It connects Hai Chau, Son Tra and Ngu Hanh Son districts, helping reduce traffic congestion at the eastern gateway to Da Nang.

Thuan Phuoc Bridge was officially opened to traffic in 2009 with a total length of 1,856 meters. It connects the two coastal roads of Nguyen Tat Thanh and Hoang Sa-Truong Sa, creating an uninterrupted coastal route from Hai Van Tunnel to Son Tra Peninsula.

A French village on Ba Na Hills, a not-to-be-missed tourist destination in Da Nang and dubbed a miniature Da Lat.

Da Lat is a resort town in the Central Highlands with many French architectural works.

The 150-kilometer-long Golden Bridge at Sun World Ba Na Hills swims in a sea of clouds.

Designed by Vu Viet Anh of TA Landscape Architecture, Golden Bridge opened to tourists in June 2018 and quickly grabbed the world’s attention.

Linh Ung Pagoda on Ba Na Hills boasts an ancient and majestic beauty. There is a 27-meter-high statue of Shakyamuni Buddha meditating on a lotus.

Son Tra Peninsula, which covers more than 4,400 hectares (10,880 acres) and rises to 700 meters at its peak, acts as a natural shield for Da Nang and is home to Linh Ung Son Tra Pagoda.

The peninsula is around 10 kilometers to the northeast of Da Nang and bordered by the sea in three directions.

Home to hundreds of species of fauna, including 22 endangered species, it is best known for the world’s largest population of endangered red-shanked douc langurs.

The highlight of Linh Ung Son Tra Pagoda is a 67-meter statue of Bodhisattva Guanyin standing on a lotus. From here, visitors can see the entire peninsula.

Hai Van is considered the most famous pass in central Vietnam, and stretches 20 kilometers between former imperial capital Hue and Da Nang.

Thanks to its stunning scenery, Hai Van is adored by both foreign visitors and locals, who use it as the backdrop for their wedding photos.
