According to Mr. Le Chi Tin, Bac Lieu province has written directives to support each self-employed 50,000 VND/person/day or 1,500,000 VND/person. However, in his locality, each person only received 1,400,000 VND.

Mr. Tin's wife is pregnant and raising a child under 6 years old. He and his wife applied for assistance, but received no response. He requested the competent authorities to soon consider and solve the above-mentioned issues.

The People's Committee of Gia Rai town, Bac Lieu province has directed to check, clarify and answer this issue as follows:

Pursuant to Decision No. 1162/QD-UBND dated July 17, 2021 and Decision No. 1238/QD-UBND dated August 1, 2021 of the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee on the implementation of social distancing according to Directive No. 16/ CT-TTg dated March 31, 2020 of the Prime Minister in Bac Lieu province for a period of 28 days, the People's Committee of Lang Tron ward considered and approved to support freelance workers who lost their jobs for 28 days with the amount of 1,400,000. VND/person, approved by the People's Committee of Gia Rai town and paid for the first phase of support is appropriate.

After that, the People's Committee of Bac Lieu province continued to issue Decision No. 1320/QD-UBND dated August 15, 2021 extending the time of implementing social distancing under Directive No. 16/CT-TTg for another 7 days.

On that basis, the People's Committee of Gia Rai town continued to approve the expenditure for support for self-employed workers who lost their jobs in the second phase, adding 2 additional days x 50,000 VND = 100,000 VND/person for those who have received support in the 1st  phase.

Thus, the additional amount of 100,000 VND has been fully provided by the People's Committee of Lang Tron ward to the beneficiaries in phase 1.

In the case of Mr. Le Chi Tin's family, Mr. Tin works as a marketer for an advertising company in Ho Chi Minh City. Bac Lieu, is not in 11 occupational groups, so it is not considered for support under Decision No. 310/QD-UBND. Therefore, the People's Committee of Lang Tron ward is not appropriate to include Mr. Tin's case in the list of unemployment support during the COVID-19 epidemic season.

Mr. Tin's wife, Mrs. Nguyen Thi Dieu, a street vendor, is pregnant and raising a child under 6 years old, verified by the People's Committee of Hamlet 2, Lang Tron ward to be true, and the People's Committee of Lang Tron ward to approve the application, and asked Gia Rai Town People's Committee to approve the support in phase 3.

Le Chi Tin's reflection, the People's Committee of Lang Tron ward analyzed and explained to Mr. Tin and he agreed with the above content.
