Ms. Nguyen Thi Men's family (Ben Tre) has an accommodation business with only 5 rooms. Ms. Men asked, is her family entitled to government subsidies?

The Department of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs of Ben Tre province answered this question as follows:

The Department of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs has asked the People's Committee of Hung Nhuong Commune to review Ms. Men's case.

Through reviewing the list of business households with business licenses and tax registration provided by Giong Trom District Tax Department, Mrs. Men's household is not on the tax list under management of the district. Therefore, Ms. Men's case is not eligible for support for business households according to Resolution No. 68/NQ-CP dated July 1, 2021 of the Government.

According to the provisions of Decision No. 25/2021/QD-UBND dated August 13, 2021 of the People's Committee of Ben Tre Province on supporting employees without labor contracts who face difficulties due to the COVID-19 pandemic in the country. In the province, Ms. Men's case "works by herself at business households in the field of accommodation" should belong to the group of jobs and fields to be supported.

The commune's professional staff contacted and guided her on procedures and documents to request support.
